Compliance guide

Outbound calling controls

Use outbound calling only with the documented consent, suppression, disclosure, and calling-window rules your business requires.

Customer responsibility

A business that initiates outbound calls or messages through Aholler is responsible for the source and legality of contact data, the purpose of the communication, required consent, opt-outs, do-not-call obligations, permitted hours, and any disclosure requirements.

Aholler can provide configuration and technical safeguards, but those controls do not replace a business’s legal assessment or compliance program.

Controls to configure before a campaign

  • A documented purpose and appropriate opening for the specific call type.
  • Consent evidence where it is required, including source, date, wording, and any withdrawal.
  • Do-not-call and suppression handling, with a process to synchronize opt-outs with relevant systems.
  • Calling windows and timezone rules that match the recipient’s jurisdiction.
  • A clear way for the recipient to decline, request a person, or ask not to be contacted again.
